Dr. Simpson is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Biomedical and Molecular Sciences that specializes in medical image analysis and computer-aided surgery. Her research group is focused on developing novel computing strategies for precision oncology.
She joined the Queen’s University faculty in 2019, after four years on the Memorial Sloan Kettering faculty and three years as a Research Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. She received her PhD in Computer Science from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
