Alan Dimitriev

Alan Dimitriev holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree of Computer Science from Queen’s University and is currently pursuing his PhD under the department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences.

His current research focuses on utilizing heterozygous loss-of-function variant carriers to develop a novel pre-clinical validation method for inhibitory drug targets and the application of Large Language Models for use in genetic contexts.

He also works concurrently on public health research projects with the Ontario Ministry of Health, the Queen’s Family Medicine Centre for Studies in Primary Care, and with the Waste Water Surveillance Initiative.
