ML in Medicine – Vector Institute Workshop

Interested in AI and healthcare?
Come to our workshop on April 7th, in collaboration with the Vector Institute!

Vinyas Harish, a Vector postgraduate affiliate, will be talking about "The Role of Machine Learning in Clinical Medicine and Public Health". Vinyas is a 5th-year MD/PhD candidate at U of T and a Queen's alum (BMCO ’17), and he's familiar with both clinical practice and machine learning research. This is a great chance to learn how AI and medicine can work together from someone in both fields!

Calgary Hacks 2022

CalgaryHacks 2022: $30,000 Prize Pool Hackathon

CalgaryHacks 2022 will take place Feb 19-20 (weekend before reading week). This will be the largest CalgaryHacks to date with over $30,000 in cash prizes with 18 ways to win. The Tier 1 prize pool is $15,000 with first place earning $5,000.

We also have a $3,750 prize pool for first years and highschool students! Our hackathon is a great learning opportunity and as such we invite students of all skill levels to hack and have fun.
