Queen’s School of Computing students receive awards the IPCAI 2021 Conference

The 12th annual International Conference on Information Processing in Computer-Assisted Interventions (IPCAI) took place on June 22nd and June 23rd.

Rachel Theriault (Supervisor Randy Ellis) was recognized with the Audience Choice Award for Best Presentation as the runner up for the paper titled Metabolomics Patterns of Breast Cancer Tumors Using Mass Spectrometry Imaging

Alice Santilli, Amoon Jamzad and Alumni Alireza Sedghi (Supervisors Gabor Fichtinger and Parvin Mousavi) were recognized with the Bench to Bedside Award as a runner up for the paper  titled Domain Adaptation and Self-Supervised Learning for Surgical Margin Detection
