Profile
Majid Babaei is a Ph.D. Student under supervision of professor Juergen Dingel at Queen's University , School  of Computing in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. His academic interests are focused on methodologies for designing, modeling and developing Software systems. Majid's Ph.D. research is  in the area of applying Model Driven Engineering techniques (MDE)  for designing Embedded Software Systems. He received a Masters of Science degree in Automotive Software Engineering from Technische Universität Chemnitz (TUC) in 2017. During his master studies, he worked as a senior developer in EPAK GmbH in Leipzig for around 2 years. Then he has conducted his internship and Master Thesis at Bosch Engineering GmbH (BEG). His master thesis has been performed in a mutual collaboration with Internet of Things (IoT) department at BEG (Dr. Stefan Mueller) and Self Organizing Systems Group (Professor Martin Gaedke) at TUC. He received his Bachelor Degree from Shahrood University of Technology in Iran in 2012. After his Bachelor studies, he has worked for around 3 years at Sharif University of Technology as a software developer and project manager.
