Andrea Perera-Ortega
Andrea recently completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s in Biomedical Computation and is an incoming Master’s student. Her current research involves applying machine learning methods to automatically grade prostate cancer biopsies. She is also working on using machine learning techniques to classify and segment lesions in individuals with epilepsy using MRI. Andrea is passionate about entrepreneurship and has founded two start-ups in the spaces of agriculture technology and healthcare.
